Festival to mark the arrival of Blacked-Necked Crane in Phobjikha
What’s included?

Day 1 (November 8)
Arrive Paro – Thimphu
Upon arrival at the Paro International Airport, you will be received by Bhutan VIP Travel’s representatives and transfer to your hotel in Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city which is about one and half hour drive from the airport.
In the afternoon, visit the Buddha Dordenma, one of the largest Buddha statues in the world. Drive to Memoral Chorten and Takin Sanctuary to see national animal of Bhutan. Tashichhodzong, the beautiful medieval fortress which houses most of the Government’s office and King’s Throne room. In the evening, leisure time in the town and interact with the local people. Overnight hotel in Thimphu.

Day 2 (November 9)
Thimphu – Punakha
Today we will drive to Punakha. From Simtokha the road climbs to the Dochu La (3,100m), where on a clear day we will get a spectacular views of the Himalayas. We will spend some time here walking round the 108 stupas. We then drive downhill through the forests of rhododendron, fir and hemlock and arrive at Punakha. In the afternoon, visit Punakha Dzong and hike to Chimi Lhakhang. Overnight hotel in Punakha.
Day 3 (November 10)
Punakha – Phobjikha
After breakfast, we will drive to north of Punakha for 30 minutes and hike to Khamsum Yuelley Namgyal Chorten. After lunch, drive to Phobjikha valley. Overnight hotel in Phobjikha.
Day 4 (November 11)
Phobjikha Festival
Today we will attend Festival with local people. Overnight hotel in Phobjikha.
Day 5 (November 12)
Phobjikha – Paro
Today we will drive back to Paro. En route visit Simtokha dzong in Thimphu. One of the oldest fortresses of the country, which now houses the Institute for Language and Cultural Studies. After lunch continue drive to Paro. Overnight hotel in Paro.
Day 6 (November 13)
Paro – Hike to Taktshang
After breakfast, we will hike to the famous Tiger Nest monastery where the Guru Rimpoche was flying on a flaming Tigress from Singye dzong in eastern Bhutan to this place and meditated for three months. Lunch will be served at the cafeteria located half way up on the mountain. After exploring the monastery hike back to the bottom. Overnight hotel in Paro.
Day 7 (November 14)
Departure
After breakfast, you will drive to the airport for departure. Our representative will bid you farewell./tg_program]
